About the tree of life... The belief in the tree of life is a very old and deep-rooted belief. It is important for the meaning it carries and the power it represents, rather than its material existence. The tree of life is the symbol of the bond between the 3 cosmic realms. The underground, the earth, and the sky. The communication between these 3 cosmic levels is called 'axismundi'. It provides a universal pillar. This column, whose base is underground, is located in the center of the universe and carries the sky. This cosmic pillar is the Tree of Life. The civilization in which the Tree of Life motif first appeared is the Sumerians. There is a sacred tree in the myths of creation. Gilgamesh finds the sacred tree in a garden. Assyrian reliefs, wall decorations, king seals, Egyptian icons show the king giving life to the souls of the dead, and in Far East Indian religions, Kosmos, the cosmic tree. The pure one is Brahman. It is known that enlightenment reaches nirvana in Buddha and Asvatha in Hindus. The tree of life is considered sacred in the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religions. It is another symbolic meaning of the 7-branched candelabra of the Jews. For the Jews, it is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It is a tree that can be reached when one has wisdom. For Christians, it is identified with the Christmas tree and represents the vitality of Jesus. According to Judaism and Masons, Acacia and Oak trees are sacred trees of life. Angels sit under these trees and Moses shows miracles with his staff. Tree is an important motif in Islam, an oath is made on the tree and it is pointed out that it is impossible to live without trees. In Turkish culture, the tree of life being fruitless means that God is not upright and unborn. It means to be and not to have anything similar.

In many parts of Europe, the ashes of the log burned at Christmas are sprinkled on houses, and it is believed that it will bring abundance and prosperity. Again, in some parts of Europe, it is believed that trees give birth to babies. That's why there are baby trees in many places. Trees help women in childbirth. A Shaman climbing the Tree of Life symbolizes ascension to heaven. In ancient Chinese beliefs, it was believed that every woman had a tree inside her. Children are born from this tree. The basis of beliefs such as planting a tree for every born child, tying wishes to a tree, burying the dead under trees... is the belief that the manifestation of God on earth is in the form of the tree of Life. The tree of life performs many miracles. The guarantee of the existence of the universe....... People of the ancient world believed that everything was alive, it was believed that every tree had a soul and cutting it down caused it pain, and before cutting it, apologies were offered and sacrifices were made. The branching in trees was due to the relationship between reproduction and multiplication. Therefore, it tells about genealogy, continuity of generation and immortality.
